Seeburg AY160 Amp. rebuild bad sound, help
Hi All,
Sorry that I write in Englisch but French is not my best language.
What a great site is this forum.
This week I started recapping the amp.
Bit by bit (because it is my first recapping amp.)
started at the left site of the diagram (j101).
I placed the amp from time till time back to see if I did a great job
and to see if everything is still working.
I could hear the sound improving. After recapping the hot-red channel
put it back in the AY160 I had a great sound a realy boost.
Also the very hot-orange color of the tube was gone and it didn't become very hot any more.
Also did some checking how it will sound if I change other sound-watt
instead of the 16watt I used. Everything sounds oke.
So I started alse recapping the other channel and the last part of
the amp (c121, c122 and c123). Still not done the multi-stage
capitor.
Put the amp. back in the juke turned on the juke made a selection
and got a very low/soft sound (lhad hoped a realy boost from both speakers) but no luck. It looks like the sound is working half of its production, also it looks like that one channel is more or less dead (very soft sound).
Already placed new tubes but this is also not working.
I checked an rechecked everything again to see if I have done something wrong.
As far as I can see nothing is wrong.
What can be the problem?
Advise and trouble shooting tips are welcome.

Hi Thierry and chiki,
unpluggin j102 has no effect on the sound loudness.
plays still the same soft volume (yes the volume potmeter is standing to max).
The problem is not comming from the cartidge and needles.
The AMP which is in my AY160 is an SHFA4-5 (where the -5 is stamped in back paint)
Still any other options to check
